Opponents quicker out of the blocks!

Meridian came into this game knowing their opponents were strong and with past performances showing their pedigree.

Meridian started off with the worst case scenario being down 2-0 within the first 8 minutes to very poor mistakes. Soon after 3-0 as another error was again the downfall in the 1st half.

Meridian rallied 2nd half with a much better performance showing resilence and character creating many chances only for lady luck no where to be seen.

The game was wrapped up by Lewisham in the very final minute of the game to which Meridian deserved better from the 2nd half display.

Meridian move forward to next weeks fixture against Seven Acre & Sidcup away KO 2PM.
