Three wins in a row for MVP.

Meridian returned to league action after a two week break with a fantastic win at Tooting Bec.
They defended stoically in the first half and on the few occasions Tooting created chances Frankie Leonard again kept them out.
Much improved in the second half they grabbed the only goal of the game in the 76th minute. Pouncing on a hesitant clearance they stole the ball outside the area and Julius Roy- Macauley used all his strength to break free of the defender and fire past the keeper.
More heroic defending in the final few minutes Bobby Holley making a game saving tackle on the edge of the area. With Dan Akin and Charlie Norcott providing an impenetrable wall, The home side failed to create the chances to get back in the game.
Meridian could have had a second deep into stoppage time when Meridian broke from a Tooting corner ,Kozzie did well to win the header on the half way line and running onto his own flick on and with the keeper absent hit a long shot towards the empty goal but it rolled just the wrong side of the post.
