Keeper off and penalty signals defeat.
A wet evening in Catford turned into another damp squib for Meridian. Trailing 1-0 at half time they hit back 3 minutes into the second half Manny Ikeocha volleying in from 12 yards.
But a needless penalty conceded just ten minutes later gifted Forest hill the lead. Then Meridians keeper picked up the ball outside of his area and was promptly dismissed. Charlie Norcott donned the gloves.Down to ten men Meridian huffed and puffed but struggled to create any chances to rescue a point and the result meant more to Forest hill as they secured their first division status.
